A few days ago I was looking for a new vacuum cleaner to replace my old one.

I was interested in the craftsman batter-powered power tools, so I was willing to pay a little more for this vacuum and it has not disappointed. It has enough strength and is light enough to carry about with you.

Although the tank is modest, if it were larger, it would be more difficult to transport around. Instead of using the 2.0 amp/hr batteries, get the 4.0 amp/hr batteries if you intend on utilizing them for a long time.

We bought the first one for our 50-foot sailboat since we’re constantly working on it and collecting a lot of wood dust, shavings, and other debris on it. We purchased four 4A 20V lithium batteries (additional purchase) because they maintain a charge for an extremely long time.

The suction is fantastic, and I like how the hose wraps around the top and clicks into place. It contains a wide nozzle as well as a flat one. A brush nozzle was not included, but an inexpensive universal one works just fine.

I’ve always despised vacuums, but this one is different. Unlike the Shop Vac (designed by someone who’s never used a vacuum). For our RV, I purchased a second one.

This is a fantastic little vacuum for light-duty chores, such as on the back of an SUV (sucking up cheerios). It’s also portable, which I appreciate. The fact that it’s integrated with the rest of my 20V battery-operated Craftsman tools makes it even more appealing.

I’m a car guy, so cleaning my vehicles is important to me. Because this vacuum doesn’t have as much suction power as a large shop vac (like a Shark), it may take some effort to clean automobile carpeting at times. However, the portability and size are difficult to beat. Excellent run time as well.
