WOW! This is by far the quietest corded Craftsman vacuum I’ve ever owned. It’s even quieter than my old 20v Dewalt vac. Maneuverability is excellent, and suction is also good. The power cable was rather lengthy, and it wraps up nicely. The hose appears to be quite durable, but I believe a longer one would be preferable. I’m very pleased with this purchase.

I’m really glad I discovered this vacuum before I began cleaning cars. I have another DeWALT vacuum, but it’s smaller and portable, and you may either connect a battery pack to it or use the cable. However, this is a GEM of a vacuum cleaner.
I detail automobiles on the side and I can tell you that for the first time today, I used it to clean my mustang’s interior. It took every last piece of trash away! The day before, I had a spill of water on the carpet and the carpet was still moist… So I passed the vacuum over it and IT LEFT MY CARPET DRY! I was shocked. You won’t be sorry if you buy this vacuum; I guarantee it.

For me, the most essential thing is that I can vacuum without having to wear ear protection. When it came to replacing my old craftsman shop vac, I was perplexed that none of the alternatives at the big-box shops mentioned decibels or even loudness.
On their website, Home Depot had one listed as quiet, but when I ordered and picked it up, a newer version with higher decibel levels had replaced it. I returned it and got the Dewalt instead since it met my stringent requirements. It appears to be a decent vacuum; in fact, this is the first time in years that we’ve had clean carpets!
