Recently I was looking for a powerful and portable wet/dry shop vacuum to help me clean up my workshop, and I couldn’t find anything that met all my needs.
Most of the shop vacuums on the market are either too small or too big, and they’re all either corded or require batteries.
But then I found the Vacmaster DVTB201 0201 4-Gallon Cordless Wet/Dry Shop Vacuum. This vacuum is perfect for anyone who wants a powerful, portable wet/dry vacuum without having to worry about cords or batteries. So without further discussion let’s get started!
Vacmaster DVTB201 0201 4-Gallon Cordless Wet/Dry Shop Vacuum Review
I know most shop owners or mechanics have a shop vac for cleaning up after projects, but the Vacmaster DVTB201 0201 4-Gallon Cordless Wet/Dry Shop Vacuum is a great option for those who want a little more portability and convenience.
This shop vac has great features like a shoulder strap for hands-free transport, an enclosed accessory storage area to keep hoses and attachments neatly in one place, and a rugged toolbox design that makes it easy to carry and store. Not to mention, it also conveniently converts to a blower for quickly inflating mattresses or floats.
Let’s have a look at the Vacuum to see what fantastic features it offers:
1. Easy To Use
One of the best things about this vacuum is that it’s very easy to use. You just need to charge the battery and you are good to go. There is no cord so you don’t have to worry about tripping over it or getting it tangled.
This vacuum is very portable because of its small size and cordless design. You can easily take it with you in the car or bring it to another job site.
The Vacmaster Vacuum only weighs 10 pounds, making it one of the lightest shop vacuums on the market. This makes it perfect for those who have back problems or other issues that make lifting heavy objects difficult.
4. Shoulder Strap
This vacuum comes with a shoulder strap that allows you to transport it hands-free. This is a great feature for those who have other projects that they are working on and need both their hands free.

As I mentioned this vacuum conveniently converts to a blower for quickly inflating mattresses or floats. This is a great feature for those who want to be able to do more than just vacuum with their shop vac.
8. Power Battery Motor
The Vacmaster DVTB201 0201 4-Gallon Cordless Wet/Dry Shop Vacuum has a powerful battery motor that combines easy maneuverability and cord-like suction performance. This makes it a great option for those who want a powerful and versatile shop vac.
9. 10-Foot Hose
This vacuum comes with a 10-foot hose that allows you to reach all the nooks and crannies that need to be vacuumed. This is a great feature for those who want to be able to clean tight spaces easily.
10. 4 Gallon Tank
This vacuum has a 4-gallon tank that allows you to vacuum for a longer period of time before having to empty it. This is a great feature for those who have large projects or multiple jobs to do.

I’ve been using this vac for a while now and I’m quite satisfied. It has excellent suction and is ideal for my work as an HVAC technician. I frequently utilize a vacuum to clean up units, so I like this one. At the moment, it’s primarily used to vacuum out condenser components of leaves and filth. I’ve also used it to clean steam-emitting furnaces.
I adore that it’s cordless and I don’t have to plug it in anymore. Finding an available socket somewhere can be difficult. This is simple to transport into and out of my van, and it works for hours before requiring a recharge. I believe I’ll need a spare battery and a new filter for certain tasks, so this will come in useful. I’m considering buying a few more like this as gifts for relatives.

This is the most effective shop vac I’ve ever owned. On a scale of 1 to 10, it’s a ten. The sole reason I could criticize it is that it drains the battery in under 30 minutes. That’s still plenty of time for me to vacuum my truck and my wife’s car like a pro, even if it does drain the battery in such a short amount of time.
I can’t emphasize enough how wonderful it is to be cordless. The fact that I don’t need an outlet and don’t require an extra long extension wire is simply fantastic. simply put, go to work with this handy carry handle, switch on “on,” and go. It comes with attachments for every nook and cranny. It was well worth the investment.

I wanted this vacuum to clean my storage garage, which doesn’t have electricity. I like the size and attachments that come with this vacuum, especially the attachment that reduces the hose diameter so I can utilize the longer hose and attachments from my corded shop vac. The battery life is too short for me, but it does charge quickly. The only drawbacks I’ve noticed are with the latches that hold the bottom to the top. They tend to unlatch easily and don’t appear to be very secure.
This vacuum is also quite heavy, weighing in at 26 pounds. If you’re vacuuming stairs or steps, be careful not to overstretch the hose. It’s very easy to tip it over if you stretch the hose too far (I put it on a tiny dolly to avoid this). The shoulder strap tends to come off easily as well. However, it’s a strong and simple vac that does an excellent job.
